The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) is heading to Luton where the seventh leg of the tournament’s 2016 edition is expected to take place in the period from October 2nd to October 9th.
Although Luton is not a particularly large city in the UK, it is known as one of the places where poker has been flourishing lately. It is exactly the Main Event of GUKPT in Luton where some of the most popular and gifted poker players in the UK have had glamorous performances.
This season’s GUKPT Festival in Luton will be held within a week. It offers a Main Event with a guaranteed prize estimated to £200,000. Of course, there will be a number of side events, as well as a total of six satellite tournaments – three Super Satellites and three Turbo Satellites. Players are given the chance to qualify for the Main Event of this season’s Grosvenor UK Poker Tour exclusively at Grosvenor Poker.
All events at the series are 1-Day ones, unless something else is stated in their rules. In addition, re-buys are not only possible, but also unlimited over the re-buy period.
As mentioned above, the Luton Tournament series offer a variety of poker events players could join. The tournament is to kick off on October 2nd with the £220 Buy-in Mini Main Day 1A, followed by a Super Satellite to Main Event, which features a buy-in of £36 only. Another £36 Buy-in Super Satellite is to put the start of the second day of the GUKPT in Luton on October 3rd, followed by a £220 Buy-in NL Hold’em Mini Main Day 1B event.
October 4th offers a total of three events to the players who join the Grosvenor poker series in Luton next week. It will start with a Turbo Satellite to Main Event with a buy-in of £36, and will proceed with the Final Day of the Mini Main event of the tournament. Last, but not least, will come the £220 Buy-in NL Hold’em 6-Max event. There is another Turbo Satellite to the Series’ Main Event which is scheduled for October 5th, followed by a Super Satellite featuring a buy-in of £165.
Thursday, October 6th is to start with Day 1A of the Main Event of the £1,100 Buy-in Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Luton. Then players will be given the chance to join another Turbo Satellite to the Main Event, as well as a £165 Buy-in Omaha 4/5/6 card Round of Each. The Main Event Day 1B of the GUKPT with a buy-in of £1,100 is scheduled for October 7th. There will also be a £165 NL Holdem Bounty event. On October 8th players will proceed to the GUKPT Luton Main Event Day 2, after which they will be given the chance to join £165 NL Hold’em.
The last day of the series will be marked by the GUKPT Luton Main Event Final Day, which is to start at noon. At 4 PM on October 9th a £110 NL Hold’em is to start, which will also be the last event in this season’s Grosvenor Poker Tournament in Luton.
